FORZA, Agency for Sustainable Development of the Carpathian region
FORZA is a Ukrainian non-profit NGO with a long standing on-the-ground experience in local development, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation focusing on forestry education and improved forest management activities.
Our core competence is building capacities of all actors along the forest value chain by providing lifelong learning and knowledge exchange to forest professionals and forest-based industry around issues of close to nature and multi-functional forest management, climate change and biomass for energy. We also actively promote forest and environment related education in the Ukraine using a “forest pedagogics” approach and sustainable mobility in the cities.
Role within RURACTIVE
In the RURACTIVE project, FORZA is a Dynamo partner, participating in all project activities with special focus on co-creation and testing of solutions in rural innovation ecosystems.
