Virtual Vehicle Research is a leading international R&D center for the automotive and rail industries with 300 employees. It is Europe's largest research center for virtual vehicle technology. Research priority is the linking of numerical simulations and hardware testing, which leads to a powerful HW-SW whole system design and automation of testing and validation procedures. The international partner network of Virtual Vehicle Research consists of around 100 national and international industrial partners (OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers as well as software providers) as well as over 40 national and international scientific institutions.
Role within RURACTIVE
In RURACTIVE, Virtual Vehicle Research supports the development of the Digital Hub, the Adaptive Monitoring Tool and the Decision Support Tool. The team contribute its expertise in the areas of mobility and digitalisation as well as its long experience in the implementation of numerous national and international research projects.
