RURACTIVE Featured in the Latest European IP Helpdesk Bulletin
RURACTIVE is pleased to share that Claudia de Luca, Junior Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna and Project Manager of RURACTIVE, is featured in the May 2026 edition of the European IP Helpdesk Bulletin, which focuses on Managing Intellectual Assets in Innovation Ecosystems.
The Bulletin explores how intellectual asset management can support innovation, collaboration and knowledge valorisation across diverse ecosystems. As part of this edition, Claudia contributes insights from the RURACTIVE project, highlighting the role of effective knowledge management and stakeholder engagement in creating sustainable impact within rural innovation ecosystems.
"Rural contexts can nurture innovation in powerful ways thanks to the diversity of challenges, of actors and of ideas," Claudia highlights in the article. "In our rural innovation ecosystems you may find researchers, farmers, young people, elderly residents, and community groups in the same room where intergenerational exchange and local knowledge are particularly strong assets. This diversity can genuinely boost innovation potential."
The feature reflects RURACTIVE’s commitment to fostering collaboration among local communities, researchers, policymakers, and innovation actors, while ensuring that knowledge generated through the project can be effectively shared, adopted and leveraged for long-term benefit.
We are proud to see RURACTIVE represented in this important discussion on innovation and intellectual asset management at the European level.
